We had my step dad and his family over for a barbecue today. They live about two hours away from us. There's a pumpkin patch in town that's about a ten minute walk from our house. The pumpkin patch had a special going on for a scavenger hunt. You find; 1 yellow 1 green 1 white 1 silly looking 1 warty 1 with a twisted stem 1 striped It's only $5 and you get all of those pumpkins/squash! It's a good deal and it's fun for the kids to run through the patch looking for all of the different types of pumpkins! While we were there, we bought some acorn squash. It was only $2 for a huge one! Twice the size of a softball! I have lived in Alaska my whole life and this is my first time at a pumpkin patch! As you can imagine, pumpkin patches aren't very common in Alaska. I really like it and so do the kids! Have you been to a patch this fall? P.s. The picture is my four kids and my little brother. My little brother is he boy in the yellow hoodie. Funny part is, my little brother is only 15 months older than my oldest child!
