How often do you buy new jeans?

I have only had two pairs of jeans for the longest time. I finally wore one pair out and they ripped down the seam on the butt. The zipper broke before that and I was wearing them with the zipper down and just pulling my shirt over it! The other pair, got some massive holes in the knees but I was wearing them anyway, because I just couldn't bring myself to spend money on new jeans.
My grandma decided that new jeans would be my birthday present. Thinking back, the two broken pairs were bought last year around my birthday too. So that's about two pairs a year.
How often do you buy jeans? How many do you have at once?

depends'n my activities 's to how many jeans i go through. usually jest 1'r 2 a year. trimmin' hooves 'n haulin' hays a bit rough'n 'em. i hope those worn out britches'r yers didn't wind up in the landfill! i'd loved to've cabbaged onto 'em coz i'm needin' more to fashion up 'nother quilt.

Mine ended up in the trash. I don't have the time to figure out what to do it ith them and even if I did, I don't have the time to do anything with them.

@Samanthavv The jeans keep on getting pricier every year. So $5.00 is a real good deal.

I must say that the jeans are quite durable. And especially my figure is the same all the time. So I really don't have a good reason to buy jeans often. Unless I like the color or design and then I will probably buy a new jeans. Otherwise I don't mind wearing my old jeans.

I don't wear jeans very often anymore, only on my days off. I have 1 good pair that I just bought that I wear most of the time. I have about 2 or 3 other pair that I can wear but they don't fit perfectly so I don't wear them much. A couple pair are too big, one is a bit too tight. I can wear them in a pinch if my good ones are dirty, but I tend not to.

I held out on getting new ones until I could hold out no longer. But it was to the point that I needed new ones or I'd be forced to go out in public in pajama pants and I definitely don't want to be one of "those" people.

Really? I wonder why mine are wearing out so fast. I have four kids and wear my jeans every day. But the last two pairs got so bad!

Around 5 years ago, I bought 3 pairs of jeans. I wore one pair out and the other two I am still wearing.

It can be really hard to find jeans that fit really well without spending a fortune. I do have some really nice but really expensive maternity jeans. I hate feeling ugly when I am pregnant,
