My family, including my husbands family seems to always want to judge and compare us to everyone else in the world. Sometimes it seems no matter what is going on, we are not doing what we should, and anything that happens, we caused it. My Father in Law has been in the hospital for the whole month of November, and we have only been there to see him like 4 times. He is in a Hospital about 30-45 mins. from here. And my husband works days. and I work Swing, so this does not really leave much time to go see him. I was in the hospital just over 2 yrs. ago myself for 10 days, and no one came to see me from his family, so why are they judging us like this? Somedays I want to Scream, and wish we could have been Lucky enough to have families that cared, and were more supportive about things.

Well, we do try and adjust, and do what is needed, and if people do not like and appreciate us, then it is their loss not ours.

The truth of the matter is that our families tend to judge us more severely than other people and they expect more out of us. Sometimes that is good for them to have high expectations because we strive harder, but sometimes it is bad when it comes out in the form of harsh criticism. Just know that God knows your heart and he is the final judge. Everybody has a family face for the world to see but sometimes under the facade there is a family with many problems. So don't feel like you are alone when you have this kind of problem.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It is great to have people who think like you do, and call you friend.

Let me tell you. My boyfriend lives below his fathr and whenever I am there he constantly bother us. He will just call for no reason. He is 63 years old and he is the most bitter evil person you will meet. If we don't answer the phone he will bang on the door until we answer it. He makes me want to vomit!!!

family - family
I'd say no:) honestly, I feel we are a happy family ever since I can remember:)+ so far don't have problems with my dad and mom, also with my brothers and sister. Dad grew up in a good family and we are closed to each other. It maybe because both of my parents are religious:) and wanted to set an example to their kids:)+ I feel so lucky to have a wonderful family:) very supportive and I thank that to our dear Lord:)+

i'm quite happy with my family members...though sometimes they may tend to compare but the bottom line is they will always be supportive of whatever I want to do in life and never criticise when i fail..
