I am looking for a black and white drawing technique that was popular in the 1950's/1960's. These "curly" drawings were seen on little girl's greeting cards and were the back drops for a couple of musicals (with a French theme). The drawings were very simple with curly-ques...for example: imagine the Eifel Tower drawn in black on a white background. The legs would not be straight into the ground, but they would be curled upwards. Is this Doodle Art? If not, do you know where to find information? Thanks, D. Tout
