Visitor at My Own Church!

Since I've finally realized my life long dream of being a full time hair stylist, that has come at a cost...of working most Sundays. That means I haven't been to church in a very long time. This weekend, I am between salons, so I have this weekend off. Yay! I got to go to church for the first time in MONTHS. It was great to see everybody again and worship with my friends. My pastor teased me...after he gave me a hug, he introduced himself to me. Hopefully at my new job I will be able to start a little later at least a couple of Sundays a month so I can stay connected. If not, hubby and I have decided to attend the Sunday evening service if need be. That service has a different crowd and a different feel, but that's ok. As long as we're plugged in, that's what matters.

It is important to keep plugged into your church. I wish it was still the days when businesses were closed on Sunday and people were able to attend easily.

Yeah, or at least opened in the afternoon or something. Hopefully I can start later or something. I notice a big difference in my over all well being when I'm not attending regularly. I try to keep up with my personal devotions, but even that is easier when I'm attending weekly! It all goes together like a puzzle1
