Well thought out responses

I am wondering if more well thought our responses give you more earnings. I see that when i respond my response is sometimes the longest one compared to people that seem to write one or two lines. I thought the more i would write on a response the more i would actually earn here. Just thinking out loud i guess, but let me know your thoughts on this topic too.

What you write doesn't earn you anything directly. It's how others interact with what you write that matters. Obviously, the more relevant, useful and descriptive you can be, the more people will be likely to want to comment on it and 'like' it and will be encouraged to want to see what else you have written. Everything you need to know, really, is contained in the Earnings Program FAQs and the Community Guidelines under "Help".

@purplealabaster If there's an echo, then we can't be quackers, can we?

I had read that already before i started back up on the site, but was curious why others done respond with responses that are well thought out and well put together. I guess others dont really care about making the most that they can then. I just think you should do what you can if not then why are you really here.

@owlwings Apparently there is an echo in here today, because I was the first to respond for a change, and you and Lamb said both said something similar to what I had said.

It might and it might not. We do not earn for our own comments, responses and discussions. Those comments, responses and discussions are all eligible for earnings, though. We will earn for interactions from other people on/with our content. Therefore, the more well thought out responses might earn more, especially if they cause other people to want to "like" or respond to them.

Im thinking that if we interact more with one discussion like we are here then we might earn more as well. Is that right? Im just curious on how to earn the most on here too because i have not been on here in 2 years and would like to catch back up on this site and earn what i can.

@lologirl2021 Yes, the more we interact with each other (and other people if they also interact back with us), then the more we earn. We are helping each other out through these interactions. I would think that better responses would provide more for people to interact with, so they (in theory) should earn more than one or two word responses.

Although I have been a member of Mylot for years. But I still have no idea how it count our earning. I think it makes sense that more responses and longer comments will give us a higher earning. The earning shall be equal to your efforts.

@lologirl2021 I am not sure whether search from Mylot will give us extra earnings. I hope to figure it out.

I think the best for me is to keep responding to discussions or comments under my discussions i started and just keep writing the most i can do everyday and just watch my earnings rise and go from there i guess. Its the best i can possibly do.

If you make a response, and you get any comments at all, then you earn from them commenting to you., not from your original response. We don't earn anything for our own posts, but for those that comment to our posts. It is a concept that some find hard to accept or understand, but it isn't that hard to figure out when you think about it. I like the concept as I earn for not being here overnight.

I know if i do start a discussion and it does not get any responses at all i dont get anything from that at all. I know i get more if i do more responses or comment on the peoples responses from my discussion i started. This is the first discussion i have started since i returned from two years ago.

@rosekiss Yeah i do like the concept too. I woke up this morning and checked on here and had made some earnings which was great to see actually. I thank you for letting me know this information. I try to interact when i see some notifications come up on my profile. I always try to write comments back from other people even if they are negative like some are on this discussion, but you just have to deal with the bad on the good days LOL. Have a great day.

@lologirl2021 The more you interat with others, the more they will interact with you. Your responses don't have to be very long for someone to come and comment to them. I have short ones, yet, people are commenting to me and I am earning from their comments, not mine. They earn from mine, and I earn from theirs.. That is the concept that mylot has put into place now. We used to earn for just our own, but not anymore. I like this concept much better, as I can earn when I am sleeping as long as people are interacting with my responses and comments.

I think in the grand scheme of things, the answer is yes. By leaving relevant, well thought out comments, you will attract other readers/interactors to your own content, I believe. Just my two cents' worth, though!

Two cents worth is two cents worth. I was just wondering. I had not been on here in two years since last saturday and i had been thinking what some people were thinking on why they dont respond very well.
