I was sleeping over in Rochdale after the party on Saturday, along with a few other guests. The clocks went back an hour so everyone was altering watches, phones, and the house clocks, etc. We helped tidy up and our lovely hosts provided breakfast before I came home.
My mum had bought a new washing machine as the old one which we have had for decades fell apart in the week. The new one won’t be delivered until next week, so clean clothes are rationed for a while. A big thanks to my Rochdale friends for a lovely weekend.

it's always irritating when the washer is down, helps us see what things we need more of though, lol!

there is that of course - much longer without it and I'll be beating clothes on the rocks in a river.

@Jessicalynnt our nearest Laundromats is quite a distance away - fortunately so is the river

@arthurchappell laundry at a friends? laundrymat? lol, river washing might not be the most effective, although that was a funny visual.

strange how different countries set their hours on different dates

@arthurchappell It really is. I didn't know that other countries didn't have the same day as to turn back their clocks.

it is frustrating especially as my Mum will need it too when we get our new one and she insists we wash our clothes separately rather than putting some in for each of us in one wash so it ends up taking longer competing for the machine and drying space.

Glad you had a good weekend with your friends. We don't set our clocks until November 1st, I'm not ready for that yet.
