My child was robbed!!!!!!!! / myLot

Seriously what is this world coming to when we can't even send our children to school without the thought that somebody might do them harm. My daughter is only 13 years old, and someone robbed her of her bag at knife point. The stupidity of it is that it is only a binder with a strap to it. It looks like a bag, but there was nothing in it but school supplies and a book. This guy is going to feel real stupid when he looks in it, and there's nothing there. I am beyond pissed. Mainly because I can't do anything about it, and my husband left out of here on a pointless mission. What would you do?

File a police report. It may have only been a binder, but your daughter was the victim of an armed robbery. I'd also make sure the school is aware so they can send an advisory out to parents letting them know this took place.

That was done right away. There is a police officer on site at the school. He came to my home and took the report after I called the school.

I see you already filed a police report, that would be my only advice. It is just terrible that something like this happened at all! and for a stupid bag no less. Glad to hear that nobody was hurt though.

Now a days stealing snd robberies are too common one really need to be alert.
