will I get hurt if I love with all my heart?

a friend advised me to try and keep a measurement when it comes to what I give in a relationship. well I can't do that. I give everything and I also hope to receive the same in exchange. sadly many times my hopes have been disappointed because people seem to be dishonest.

I know what you mean, I gave everything now I have nothing. In a relationship you have to give everything, well in my view you do.

hi@swissheart I did give my all and I r eceived his all and we were; married for 33 wonderful sad up and down years and if I coulld do it all over again i would do it again pain and downs and ups and all.

And if you get hurt, so what?? At least you loved with your whole heart--a rare feeling that not many people experience. Go for it!!!
