Halloween Nightmare

I suppose it is only fitting that I have somewhat of a nightmare. I went to sleep around 8 Am this morning. I wish that I could retell the nightmare in a more story like way but I just don't remember enough of it to do so. I will, however, try to remember enough to give you an idea of just how crazy the dream truly was. It started off with me and a friend. Now most of my dreams feature several different friends that are supposed to be the same person. This dream was no exception. The person kept switching but it was supposed to be the same person throughout. Anyway, We were just having a good time on Halloween, making memories. We went to one person's house and that was when the fun stopped. It turned into me and my friend being left alone, essentially abandoned. We found ourselves being kicked out of where we were because it had suddenly turned into a completely different place that we had no access to. We had to start walking and it seemed as if every few minutes the scenery changed. This seemed normal to us in my dream. One minute we would be walking on a long road, the next we were walking along a river. The river is what makes me think of the lake in the Jason Vorhees serial of movies. The fact that we nearly fell off the cliff like area we were on, and into the river below, made it terrifying. Now as I said above the person I was with kept switching. At one point it wasn't a friend at all that was with me, but rather my father. I felt the most uncomfortable at this point in the dream. With my friend I felt safe, if not a bit worried I would be abandoned. With my father I felt completely afraid and had no trust in him. Now I suppose you could analyze this part deeply, but I know what that means to me in terms of symbology. Anyway, the dream ended in a somewhat comical if not terrifying way. The last area we were in switched to a completely diffrent universe. We were in an almost cartoonized place with Chip and Dale. Yes the chipmunks from Disney. The scary part was that their maker was a bit of a loon. Think Dr. Frankenstein meets Jekyll and Hyde. I woke up wanting to know more about what would have happened.
