Ready for lunch:the work is done.

I am SO happy! Everything went along fine. There was first a nice breakfast and the my 2 strong helpers moved the beds from one room to the other and then my mother´s house to my house and room.
That last job was the hardest. We could never have done it between Leticia and I.
After the job was done, we had some sodas under the shadow of my apricot tree and then they went away.
Now I´m resting my legs while mylotting. I cooked a pork stew that will be reafdy in a minute.I´ll eat some of it during a late lunch (just the meat) and I will cook a couple of very small potatos to go with it for diner. Dieting is still on.

Happy to hear that everything went well and the move went smoothly. I am about to move as well and it's going to be a nightmare.

Most of the move was taking heavy beds from one room to the other. But my mother´s bed was very heavy as it is a special hospital-like bed with a lot of iron.

@marguicha I'm moving into a new home coming from Korea. It has been a nightmare trying to change everything around.

I had to get 2 young man helpers. I am 70 and Leticia is 65. There´s not much we cando there, excepty by giving directions.

@marguicha Even if you were young women getting those beds moved would have needed help. Glad you can find such help.. at the right time.

It's a blessing to have good strong backs to help when moving. Unpacking takes days, but at least it's better than moving heavy things like beds. I am glad that you were able to get help.

The stew turned out delicious. I did not add any carbs, but I ate one of the cookies I bought for the visitors
