Microsoft Office 2016 is out now the last version was Office 2013.
This productivity software also has Office 2010, 2007 or even older versions like 2003.
There is also Office 365, the other version of Office which I don't understand the difference.
Does anyone have an answer to this question of how Office 365 is different.

Personally I try to avoid the later versions of Microsoft Office. Every time that they introduce a new version they also remove or block many features for security reasons. This would not be too bad but they do not even provide the option to reactivate such features if required.
In Outlook 2000 I was able to send emails with active audio, which was blocked in future versions. The same applies with Outlook 2003 in which I can send animated emails, but later versions disable this feature.
Even Excel 2007 can be annoying at times. I often used to enter conditional formatting by formula, whereas now it is necessary to drill into the features and manually select the options that you require.

I have the old one and I am happy using it. So I do not know the difference.
