Do you think that the microwave oven will be bad for our health?

My colleagues said it was bad for the health to use the microwave oven to heat the lunch. So they use the ricemaker to heat their lunch instead. As to me, I don't mind using the microwave oven at all. I don't believe the food will be harmful for the health. It is still convenient to use the microwave oven. It takes about few minutes and it shall have no harm for the food.

I watched a TV show before that did a study on microwaves. It's actually not harmful to us. There's radiation, yes, but you'll only be affected if you're pressing your face against the microwave as it's running or if your microwave is defective.
So no worries.

Microwaved food is no more 'bad for your health' than food warmed by the sun, for example. Microwaves are simply a form of energy, like light, which is absorbed by the food and causes a rise in temperature. They do NOT leave any 'harmful radiation' in the food!
Microwaves are harmful to humans and animals only if we are exposed to them because they heat our living tissue in exactly the same way as they heat food. The difference, of course, is that cooking living tissue is a bad thing, whereas cooking food is not!

They used to think the radiation could cause cancer. I think that has been disproven. I use the microwave all the time.

The rice cooker will take a long time no?
I would use the micro personally.
I do believe it puts out waves, but hey, it is the modern world and we have to hurry.
