Day 2 of National Novel Writing Month

I might not be signed up for NaNoWriMo this month, but that doesn't mean I'm not taking part on my own. I've been working on my manuscript yesterday and today. I realized this morning I am lacking some physical descriptions for a few of my characters, so I have been working on that today. I know what I see in my mind's eye. I just need to make certain the reader sees the same. Are you taking part in NaNoWriMo? What is the name of your book? I'm working on the fourth in the series - Freedom's Cry.

One day I'll try NaNoWriMo, but right now I know I could never manage to write anything that long. Good luck with your manuscript.

@rakski It is not a site where you read other people's work. It is a site where you input your word count for the day on the manuscript you are working on. There is a forum for other writer's to encourage each other.

Every year I think about it and then find that November arrived without my having made a commitment. So , I guess I never will.

Thanks. It takes a lot of work and sometimes I find myself waking in the middle of the night realizing things that need to be fleshed out more. In this case character descriptions.

Right now calling it Swiss Family Zombieson, but I know that won't stick, too many differences, so not sure what it will end up being called.

Good for you! I hope you get your characters descriptions completed. I am not taking part in this writing adventure but I really admire all of the writers that are.
