Are you a 'cat' person or 'dog' person and why?

Me? I am both! I have owned both my whole life. Cats have wonderful personalities. What I love the most is their independence. Dogs....dogs I just love period. You get unconditional love no matter what. You don't have to be rich, good looking, funny or smart, they love you just as you are.

My family always had a dog and at least one cat all the time I was growing up. There were dogs I loved, but it was cats that melted my heart. I'm the same way now. I love my kitties. I love cat knickknacks. I have cat curtains. I have a cat blanket. I also have cat pajamas. Yeah - I'm a cat person.

When I was a child and had a kitty cat we found out I was allergic so my parents had to find another home for it. Then I had a dog and no problem so I have always had cats and dogs from the time I was very young up til now even.

@Marcyaz I have so many friends that are allergic to cats it's crazy! And a lot of them had cats to begin with and then became allergic later on!

I have both cats are more independent but dogs I find to be more fun. I can train them to do what I want and they will kiss me when I ask them to and love to go for rides in the car and go to the park and even go swimming.

@happytails OH yes there are some cats who will walk with us and go for a walk they are very special.

@Marcyaz I actually had a cat that would walk with a harness on and go for walks with me!
