My Miracle Money Account Has Started To Earn Interest

OK it was only £0.02 in interest for October, but to me that is exciting, the account contains money that we do not expect and now that that money is earning it is a really nice feeling. Katie and I have decided that we are going to build up the money in this account and use it to take the kids on holiday, as a result I have also decided to add my internet money and any future cash back I earn to the balance so we can go somewhere nice.

@mrtoffee I get excited when I find pennies, too. It's even more exciting if my daughter isn't with me at the time... she thinks she's entitled to every cent we pick up when we're out.

What is this miracle money account all about? Is it an online saving account or just an account that you put aside for little luxury in life?

It may be only £0.02 now, but that's just the start of it. Compounding interest really is a magical thing. If you keep adding to the account, you'll start to see it grow a lot faster. Do you have any ideas where that 'somewhere nice' might be when your balance grows enough?
