Wet And Soggy But Home Safe

Well that's my final ride of the week over and it was by far the wettest one of the last five days. Just as I washing down the river tow path towards the Bath Bristol cycle track the heavens opened and a torrent of rain lashed down. As the rain got heavier the wind decided it didn't want to be left out so it started to blow harder, so there I was trying to pick my way along a tow path covered in wet slippy leaves with the wind and the rain battering me. I must be completely bonkers riding in this weather, but do you know what I will always pick my bike over the car, even when the weather is as this bad, it's just a far nicer way to commute with far less stress. I am glad to be home though and soaking in a nice warm bath.
