2 Years After Typhoon YOLANDA (HAIYAN)

As expected... after 2 years: Government rehab efforts still incomplete! We will never forget that day. The shocking damage(d) and pain. Still making me cry. We lost a relative, 2 relatives that was so dear to us on that super-typhoon. The were drowned inside their house. I remember seeing my Ate and her husband after a week. They looked very exhausted. You can't tell by the look of their faces that she is a doctor and he is a teacher. They've lost weight and I couldn't imagine the horror they've witnessed... they've seen how our Aunt and Uncle; drowned and died. Honestly, heartbreaking. My bestfriend's place was also badly damaged. Their house partially damaged and so as their farm; their livelihood. Until now... many survivors are still struggling. Emotionally and financially. The country received help and continuously receiving help from countries around the world. I'm not sure if those funds have reach to the right people. That help is for the people who needed it so badly. I'm not blaming the government but it's hard not to. I don't know how government works since I really hate politics... but the people needs attention much more ACTION! People doesn't need your words they need it to be done. The people have been waiting for 2 years... and still counting. Related Article: http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/11/08/15/palace-govt-continues-rebuilding-after-yolanda

I feel for you. Well, as per Yolanda, for sure there were lots of donations but as to how it is distributed, nobody knows and that is so sad. A lot of people suffering and yet some people are taking advantage.
