Since a week my hubby was seeking my permission for a parrots pair.Few month ago my maid unintentionally let the female flew away she was cleaning their cage.So today my hubby left for pet market in the afternoon and later in the evening bought a female one.He brought it home and every one welcomed her .Do you buy pair pets or you content yourself with single pet?

Most often a single pet, such as a cat or dog. We did have a pair of gerbils as they like company.

I think birds needs company as they are trapped in a cage whereas dog cats are mostly free to roam around.

It's nicer if they have company.

I used to get two kittens so one would not be lonely. I had two parrots at one time from my Grandmother. they were old when I got them. but we did enjoy them for a lot of years.

My pets are all abandoned or battered and rescued. That is how they land up in our home.

Your title suggested you bought two male parrots, but I see it was a single female. I don't have birds for a pet, but I would imagine it would be best in a pair so the bird doesn't get lonely as I've heard happens with birds. I do have a pet, though it is a dog.

I don“t have pets at home. The only time I had an animal, it was brought to me for adoption.

We a pet bird that lived to 18 years . After that I promised myself never to cage birds again. They are not meant to live in a cage ..
