I wonder what happens to the homeless after their death

I think the government will collect the corpse, but I wonder if the dead bodies are used in research or cremated or buried. If the bodies are used for research purpose, I hope that the students cutting up the bodies will show respect. After all, the bodies belong to someone who had lived and breathed the same air as us. I hope that the government can give them at least a simple funeral.

In the hospital where I go to study medical, the homeless who die in the vicinity and the bodies are unclaimed, they are transported to the morgue for the anatomy division so that students and teachers can study human anatomy. Also they are important for research purposes and sometimes writing thesis.

The medical students need bodies to study and as long as it is done respectfully it seems a good idea.
