Spoiler alerts - Series 3 Episode 4 Raj faces the threat of deportation back to India when his work visa expires until Sheldon offers him a new job working for him, but obliges on his friend to apply and be interviewed for it first. There is a great montage sequence as the two scientists stare fixedly at a physics formula on a board for a long time, set to Survivor's Rocky theme song, The Eye Of The Tiger. With Raj suddenly much too busy for their bromantic friendship Howard finds himself at a loose end and starts intruding on Penny & Leonard’s intimidate time, causing friction there. Sheldon proves to be a sadistic, selfish lousy employer but it wouldn’t be funny if he wasn’t. Arthur Chappell

That was one of the best episodes in my opinion, and I'm a fairly large fan. I'm having difficulty getting into the new season though...but I suppose it's important to Sheldon's development from robot to man:/

I think it is picking up and recovering again after a weak series seven but they had some big problems to overcome mid-season that led to rapid rewrites last year

I didn't think this was one of their better episodes. It was either this or a subsequent episode along the same lines that got outrageous.
