Zentangle Swap

I joined a site called Swap-Bot about a month or so ago. You can sign up to swap all KINDS of things, mostly pen-pal and crafty related. One of the swaps I signed up for is for Zentangle Newbies. The swap was for 2 partners, which means you'll send to two people and receive something back from 2 DIFFERENT people. We created a 5"x 5" Zentangle Tile and divided it into 1 1/4" squares. Then, we drew a different tangle in each of the boxes. It was fun to challenge myself to try different tangles. At first I tried to write the letters that make up "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and decorate each letter. That got too stressful, though so I went back to the basics of what Zentagle is all about and it was much more relaxing, which is the way the art form is designed. I've received one Zentangle tile back from one of my partners. I look forward to receiving the other one, too.
