When we bought our Chevy Traverse a year ago in June we found out that we would be getting 4 free oil changes. That wouldn't have been a big deal a few years ago. My husband always did his own oil changes.
When we bought our previous Traverse my husband found out that they didn't make it quite as easy to do an oil change. He burnt his hand the first time so he didn't make that mistake again!
Since the oil changes are fee I talked him into having it done at the dealer. Granted he could have changed the oil in 10 minutes at home but rotating the tires (which they also did) would have taken him longer than the dealer.
Of course sitting in a waiting room isn't much fun even though this one is new and very nice. I should have stayed home, but I wanted to go to a few stores that are in the area.
Oh well, we have one more freebee left! We might do a trade-in after that anyway.

There was way too much noise to read, I was sitting next to the tv and couldn't hear it.

Freebies, why not - especially an oil change! I will take a free oil change, any day. :)

The bad part of the waiting room - a very prego lady dragging a screaming two-year old .....

I recently discovered a very handy syphon pump which means you can change the oil by sucking it out of the top instead of having to lie down and wriggle under the car to reach the sump drain plug, it's great! I did write a post about it on the other site but I may have to do another.
