How much time do you spend on myLot every day?

I'm new to myLot, and looking at all the posts, it occurs to me that it would be easy to spend an inordinate amount of time on the site. I'm the kind of person who takes time to look for discussions I really am interested in. That means some time spent just looking for posts I want to read and respond to. Then once I select something that sounds interesting, I have to read it, and then formulate a response. All that takes time! So, I'm wondering if people in the myLot community find themselves spending more time than they anticipated on the site. What about you?

I spend for making interaction here about 3-5 hours everyday, if I do not have urgent work. Yes, I do not work outside and stay at home throughout the day as a household mom. Looking after my little daughter is my first job after doing some house chores.

I spend far too much time here - I think I'll come for an hour, and three hours go by in the twinkling of an eye.

@jaboUK it's interesting that myLot can draw a person in like that. I'm going to try to be very disciplined about it.

@RonElFran I'm retired so fortunately it doesn't matter how much time I spend here.

@jaboUK, my problem is that I have to divide my time between several sites. I'll have to be more disciplined to make sure I don't neglect other sites I'm interested in.

It's easy to spend more time than we anticipate here. I come with the idea that I'll spend an hour and two hours later I am saying to myself, "Just a couple more... "

I did at the beginning. I'm a spontaneous person and would love to have the time to respond to everything. Also, my daily routine is not consistent, so some days I have the luxury of being here more than others.

@valmnz I think I'm probably like you in that I'm not consistent from day to day. I tend to go in bursts, then back off for a while.

@Jessicalynnt, in a way that's encouraging to a newbie like me. It says this site is an enjoyable place to hang out.

When I see lots of interesting discussions, from the people I'm following and/or from the 'Explore' page, I spend maybe more than hour a day.. but not in one sitting. But when I get too busy with work, there are days even that haven't logged in. But usually, 10 to 15 minutes is enough for me to start a conversation and post a few comments and responses.

@jrlcentral, my problem is I find it hard to do anything in 10-15 minutes! I can start with that goal, but then time slips by and I've gone far beyond what I intended.

@RonElFran Well... personally, I write what comes into my mind right away. Something that happened a few minutes earlier, or something I've read or heard in the news recently, or something that I feel at the moment... At least these thoughts are enough to get started. The only drawback is, sometimes it does not draw any interactions. I don't mind that anymore lately. But it feels good to write it down, it's kinda therapeutic for me. :D
