Do you find it so hard to say "NO" that you regularly do favors you do not want to do? Explain ....

I used to be the one that everyone called when they needed something but I started making myself unavailable and they don't call anymore.

Work on it. It's very liberating to learn to say it.

You just have to start stopping and thinking before you answer. If it's really something that you don't want to do or it's better for you and/or your family not to do it, just say no. You don't have to give an excuse. Just say, "No, thanks for asking, but I'm going to have to pass this time" or something like that. It's hard at first but the more practice you have the easier it get.

I used to have that problem, but not now. I am a pretty blunt person and sometime I hurt peoples feelings without meaning to. I guess that comes from being walked over by my ex. No seems to just roll off my tongue.

It's amazing what you learn to do after having an ex like that. I had one as well.

Yes but it all depends on the situtation.

I'm getting a lot better at it. I used to find it really difficult. Maybe I'm just getting lazy or something. :-)

Yes, I have a problem saying no, when people ask me to work, especially my work place when they ask me to work, I can't say no to him, I just feel like I am letting them down!

I understand. I used to be like that and I still feel like that sometimes, but I've learned to put what's best for me and my family first. It's really hard at first, but it gets easier the more you do it.
