Today is Deepaavali, the festival of lamps. On this festival we, the Hindus offer worship to fore-fathers by offering lamps (Deepa) in the evening and seek their blessings. This festival is celebrated on the new-moon day of the month of Kaartik, usually comes between October16th to November14th. Blessings of Goddess Laxmi is also associated with this festival as Dhana-Laxmi for business houses. Let the glow of lamps of this festival enlighten the life of my friends all around!!
