US tops the list of countries with external debt.
It comes without any surprise, but I still am surprised by the huge amount of external debt incurred.
External debt means the country owes to other countries.
As of 20 June 2015, US owes $18,540,448,667,000 to other countries.
This means US will not allow the USD to get too strong.
It will have to devalue the currency so that the value of the debt gets smaller and smaller.
I pity the future generations since they will have to pay the huge debt in the form of inflation, and devaluation of currency.
I guess in time to come, US will start to print money so that money gets more and more worthless.
