Is Paris France currently under siege by terrorists?

I just left the innocence of the preschool where I volunteer and heard some terrible news on the radio. According to the report I heard in KCBS-AM, there have been multiple terrorist attacks in Paris this evening, including a bomb explosion at a friendy soccer match between France and Germany, at least one shooting, and other bomb blasts at theaters and restaurants around the City. Estimates of the number killed range from 16 to about 30, as of half an hour ago. Who would do such a thing?

I have to wait until this even when the new from France comes on here around 8. It will tell us all that is happening there and around the world. So far here we haven't heard anything but that doesn't mean it isn't happening there right now.

It had started before I went out with a kid client this afternoon. I did not listen to the news with him in the truck. I will catch up now.

@tallawah 23 bombs in all went off in less than 30 min from 9:15 the first bomb went off and the last one went off at 9:40. They have the men responsible for this now. they say it was 3 men who did this. I will know more tonight on this one.

was wondering if this had anything to do with the drone strike that kill the person who beheaded Foley. Though this was not confirmed

Hasn't France been good about admitting refugees from countries ravaged by extremists?

@tallawah I am feeling anger right now. But I will continue to gather information.

@amadeo my hunch is that this was planned before that news came out.

How does one control vermin that live among you, look like humans, and use language like humans?

We heard about it first last night on facebook. Now, I have heard that there are over 100 that have been killed as well as the terrorists.

I wonder where the reports came from that authorities had a "conversation" with one terrorist who claimed to be from Syria.

I have been listening to the reports on the radio. It is heartbreaking. When will these kinds of attacks end?

I see no reason to think that they will ever end.

@tallawah Germany could be next. I'll have to read more about their "reasoning" for targeting France.

I was away from my computer and came back to find an email alert. I have been watching the news ever since. I think we know who to blame, since the terrorists told people that they were doing this in retaliation for France's involvement in Syria and said they were from ISIS.

I wonder how many were involved. The attacks seemed well coordinated.
