She made Varsity

Last year my daughter decided to do Winterguard for the first time. She picked up on it quickly and was pretty good. This year because so many girls signed up, and 1 boy too, they decided to split the Winterguard and have a JV and a Varsity. Tonight were the tryouts. My daughter is in 8th grade and only has 1 year experience, and didn't get much floor time last year as she was new. I didn't expect her to get Varsity, but she did, as did 3 other 8th graders. However a couple of 9th graders who aren't so good ended up being on the JV team. I'm really excited for the season to start and to see how it all comes together!

That is great that she did that good and is on the varsity team. I hope she does really good.

That is great. She must be good because if you don't work hard you don't get varsity. Good luck to her and hope she has a great year.

She is a perfectionist, and she's been practicing her routine a lot so she could get varsity. I'm happy for her.
