How do you choose your bedding fabrics?

Im looking to buy a new bed sheet online because there are so many online deal offer good price compared to the mall sales. The things is i didn't get to feel the fabrics like i can at the mall.
I love the feeling of fabric when i sleep at luxury hotel and i hope i can find something similar with a good price online but i don't know what type of fabric the hotels use.
Maybe anyone can suggest what type of fabric u use that satisfy you. Higher Thread Counts sheet are usually more expensive but i read in google high TC are just overrated. Im confused here..

This would be hard for me to advise you on this considering I don't buy sheets online. I would suggest maybe you go to a store and find your perfect sheet and then look for it online. This could narrow it down and help you get what you want at a discounted price.

I always love online shopping deal, it saves my money, but sometimes i do ask around for opinion before buying if im not sure.
