Making a recipe for no bake fudge

I am a choco- holic. I admit it. I have no shame. If it is chocolate, chances are good I will like it unless it is too exotic. I have been trying to find a no bake fudge recipe. I love homemade fudge, but I hate trying to boil the ingredients to the right temperature to crystalize the sugar and get the fudge to harden just right. Luckily for me since I like chocolate it is easy to make no bake fudge or so I was led to believe. After three attempts I think I am close to the right recipe. I am only using chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff and sweetened condensed milk. Good heavens, who knew the condensed milk would explode from the can! I don't measure my concoctions so I will probably never be able to give the exact amount of ingredients but boy am I loving eating it. Has anyone else tried making no bake fudge? What is your recipe? Does it harden like regular fudge?

I like chocolate but haven't made any no bake fudge in quite a while mom had a good recipe, but I do forget how she got the job done.

That's too bad. I would appreciate the help. Unfortunately, I am the same way when it comes to recipes though. What is worse, I never measure so I cannot give anyone my recipes.

@softbabe44 Honestly I do not take the time to do so. I only do exact measurements on recipes that are written down that I haven't tried. If I am making up my own as I go then I usually know about how much I used.

I just started trying this year. I thought I would have a good recipe by Christmas. No such luck. I can say I found I am having to exercise more with my tries.

@mommaj That is good. I think by the time you perfect the recipe, you are strong enough to climb Mount Everest. I will be at the foot of Everest cheering you on.

@scheng1 If I get the recipe right I will not have to climb. I will jump to the top from joy and take you with me. No way I am going that high unless I am in a plane though. No worries, recipe will never be perfect. LOL.

After three attempts? What happen to the first two attempts? Do you feed it to the cat and dog? I think both of them will love the chocolate even if it looks so awful.
