Cats and dogs

We got a cat and dog as part of our family. They get along extremely well. The cat is actually the ruler of the house. The dog seems to be a human toddler. Do you have animals that should be enemies that get along well?

I can't say the same for me. But my brother has two dogs and one cat. I say the dogs are the boss, since his cat hides out in the basement every once in awhile. He doesn't like the dogs, when they want to play with him.

Every once in a while my cat will go under my bed while the dog isn't there and when the dog goes under bed she will hiss and walk away. I once heard growling coming from under the bed and it was the cat. The dog must have really gotten on her kitty nerves. They are so funny.

Is the dog much bigger than the cat? I think big dog is quite tame, and a cat is definitely ferocious no matter how big or small it is. Fortunately the cat cannot speak our language, else it will demand you to buy a large bed for it, and serve it with all the good food.

Dog is medium size. The cat carries its bowl around when it smells me cooking. Think it is demanding! As far as a bed, crazy things sleep on mine and I have to sleep on floor.

@mommaj You mean you sleep on a bed that is big enough for a cat? No wonder the cat gets rid of you, and reclaim the bed. It is time for you to buy a human bed, and not steal the bed from the cat.

When they live together they get along better than human beings. I have so many stories to tell. So your cat is the boss. I can believe that (lol)

The cat was already declawed when we adopted her and it amazes me how she rules the dog. The dog will play with her and the cat gets mad and swats her nose but the dog thinks the cat is petting her and will just stand there several minutes longer.
