Bubblews is gone – so could we re-use our material?

When I first joined Bubblews I was advised by Teresa Schultz, who sadly doesn’t seem to be on myLot, to save copies of everything I wrote and the original URL in case I needed to find it again, and I have dutifully followed her advice ever since. Now @LadyDuck pointed me to the post about the demise of Bubblews by @The Horse and so I went to see for myself, and yes it seems that everything has just disappeared.
I tried entering the URLs of a few of my own posts to see if they were still there but no, each time I got the ‘webpage cannot be found’ message, so it seems that everything has just disappeared. So this raises another question – if our own work is no longer ‘out there’ in cyberspace, does this mean we could be free to re-use that material if we wanted to?

@TypicalRussian As I said above I was advised to keep copies of everything so I wrote all my posts in Word and I still have those files. I only joined in 2014 but from 2015 alone I have 120 pages of my ramblings, a mixture of everything from day-to-day goings-on to more profound subjects!

I still find the cache of my posts.
It will take a while for the posts to disappear from the search engine.
However, some Bubblews posts were stolen, and published elsewhere.
Before you publish somewhere else, you can use the free plagiarism checker to run a check.

I would not worry about reusing it as long as it is appropriate to MyLot.

I don't think Arvind would do anything about it. I tried bringing up a cached version of my page, it brought up my profile, but after a half-hour, still no articles.

@Pattitude No no, Bubblesview owner is Arvind Dixit, I just mentioned Delhi's Chief Minister's name who come up with promising Moon for , and now he is established joker

I think they planned to shut Bubblews down without warning so that they could do something productive with our good posts.
