Marvel – 2015 – spoiler alerts The closing two issue story in the first of Marvel’s Hulk – Agent Of SHIELD anthologies has the not so jolly green giant unconvincingly sent on an underwater mission, and even pressed into a deep sea diving suit. He is cast against an Atlantean despot, Attuma, a rival sea-lord to Namor The Sub-Mariner. Attuma plans to kill the World’s surface life so Hulk is sent to destroy him. Hulk’s suit is damaged so he risks drowning but he is rescued by Atlantean freedom fighters, including a girl with a fetish-crush on him that is sadly not explored enough. Hulk leads their revolution and crushes Attuma’s plans. As Banner leaves Atlantis he steals a few random artefacts for SHIELD which will no doubt have consequences in future stories. This story however is rather unlikely and superficial. Arthur Chappell

I dunno I guess I thought that the hulk would just ignore the need for air.

no, he isn't so well co-ordinated and generally swims badly

@arthurchappell that sounds like a way to control him, so Iron man should just make a water suit and if he needs to subdue Greeny, just dump him and hold him under water until he passes out

@Jessicalynnt Hulk is usually resourceful enough to get out of most traps - if he touches bottom he can leap out
