Freado is Shutting Down Too

I just learned that Bubblews shut down. I learned a week or so ago that Freado is shutting down, but at least they gave us some notice and are giving us the opportunity to earn as many points as we can and bid on some books with them before the end of this month. I won quite a few books from this site and have some bids in on books currently. One book is a Janet Evanovich book. I've never read her and want to. But after going back and forth with bids, my opponent finally took it up a notch and bid more points than I have. I do have some bids in on other books, not as popular authors though. There's a Patricia Cornwell book up for bids but the top bid right from the start was beyond my points account. At least Freado has the class that Bubblews didn't. They gave us a month's notice and a chance to make a last stab at getting some free books.
