Anyone who had been following the recent trends in the international news, it will be the Syria's raiding by the french forces & the attack on paris which occupied most the pages in your morning news paper. Do you still think this would have a bearing effect on the Crude prices? I know syria is not the top producer but i would like to know what you think?

I think all of this is coordinated. When the people who set prices want them to increase, they find an excuse.

Yes, to an extent, but we have seen the oil price under $50 this year for so many days in its entire history. May we have seen the oil prices for be low for so longer i just suspect the price hike is just around the corner.

@everloving I think it has to do with the upcoming elections in the U.S. After Nov 2016, they will rise again, I think.

Right now oil is at the lowest price it has been for a decade but if you know anythign about the economy it will go up again only higher--nothing to do with Syria!

it shouldn't directly impact oil prices but oil barons will hike up prices claiming it does anyway

@everloving it won't just affect India, as the whole World could start hiking up its prices

Thats what makes me wonder. For how long the prices can kept below $50 & are we going to see a huge surge in its pricing in near future.

I did read a news article on BBC that says the military action is very likely to push up crude prices.

A few things are always interconnected, military actions does make a surge in the oil prices.
