My Attempts at Modern Art

Ok, so I've taken up modern art, specifically painting abstract water colours. This is my latest painting which I call "Blue Pollution". You can interpret it as you like, but I like to consider it as a comment on our throwaway, filthy society. It will be shown at my exhibition next month and priced at €4000 which I think is reasonable. What do you think?

Is that figure also a reflection of throwaway society, particularly the perceived value of money?

I suppose it is, some people have money to throwaway on art.

@EugenesDDen Good luck, you'll probably get your asking price.

@eugenesdden I wouldn't have a clue about what comment to make on that or how much I'd pay for it but I just felt that I wanted to say something for some reason.

Very interesting. How long did it take to paint? Have you sold many of your works prior to this?

@EugenesDDen Ok so I was advised it was under priced and I doubled the price to €8000. This was enough to encourage a buyer.
