What do you think?

This is one late topic. This is kinda a warning too *wink*. I just haven't moved on. Weeks ago, two Filipino celebrities are being asked for an apology by a Muslim governor. Apology for wearing a thawb--Arab garment. Reading the news article, i "stumble" with a certain comment that they should be asking for an apology since Halloween is all about creepiness. Like what? With such comment, i can't help not to reply with..."if you think of Halloween, you think of creepiness?". He answered me with..."yes, you stupid much". If Halloween is celebrated, you think of ghouls or ghost or something creepy too? *P.S. If you are curious if i replied with that comment, i wouldn't mind to answer you.

I find nothing offensive with wearing Arab garment on a Halloween. The two did not even make fun of the garment and neither did they try to scare anyone with their apparel.

same here, it was just a costume and didn't make anything bad on it like make it bloody.

So if that is the case , then the Arabs should be proud other want to wear it too.

I heard that news and watched them on that episode. The celebrity has been using that one costume for the last 15 years now. I think some are just criticizing because the election is just a few months away. We know he's running for a senatorial position.

It is Halloween so what difference does it make what you wear.

To each his own I guess. When I was a child I dressed up as a Gypsy. Not creepy at all.

Yes, when I think of Halloween, I think of "creepiness" and evil, personally.

I don't think it was you who answered that comment but one of the celebrities.
