Exercise the Heart

Hello Mylotters, I've alwayd had problem with consistency, when ever there's an event or some one planning to visit I end up stopping my exercise. It wasn't just that, It was hard to eat lesser meals. Even though my cousin recommended at least four light meals a day, but some how the hunger always takes over and I eat a lot more. But there's one thing that he told me that was even more important. Exercise wasn't just about loosing weight, it was also exercising your heart. You get to pump it fast at least once a day in every work out, less the chance of heart attack. I started avoiding meat as well, but few weeks ago I was eating meat 3 times a day. So far exercise is good that diet has been a problem. Experts mentioned this a lot times that it's usually 80% diet and 20% exercise. What do you think? For once I would like to look thin the way I used to when I was younger, darn hotdogs!

I am also of the view that diet makes difference. You need to eat lot of fiber and drinking at least 3 litres water a day make your system clean.Try these steps and I am sure you will be benefited.

@Letranknight2015 Once you increase the take of fiber in your food, your rice consumption will automatically come down. thanks

I guess all of @lmpandey jogging I made last week was just a waste because i end up eating more and gaining calories than loosing it.

Thank you for the advice and I have been drinking a lot of water lately just to help with digestion. I wonder what's the substitute for rice since I've known to eat them a bit much here. thanks

That is true . You don';t exercise just to lose some weight but also to maintain your health and live without any pains in the body .

The experts I've encountered seem to suggest that while nutrition is a bit more important than exercise, they are both vital.

yeah @1hopefulman you're right, I guess i need to eat lesser but with more nutrition and doesn't surpass the calories that I lost today. no wonder I didn't feel loosing weight for a weeks of jogging.

Maybe you need someone to be your exercise buddy so he can help you to do it consistently and monitor your progress.

Why don't you try 6 small meals rather than 4? Eat in smaller plates. Use a small spoon. Just a few tricks. Still, it boils down to your discipline and motivation.

It will be a lot easier of you have an exercise or diet buddy. On my case that is my husband. From 36 waistline he is now 31 :)

@wiLLmaH unfortunately, I don't have an exercise buddy. This is something I gotta do myself, I couldn't find any. except if i go back to that neighborhood were all the people do exercise go. For now, it's impossible.

Oh yes, that is what I am always telling my mom. Good diet is not enough you have to do some simple exercise for the cardio.
