Caladiums

Caladiums are seasonal that thrive only during the rainy season. There is one variety that comes on its own and is seen all over the place. Just because it is so common not much attention is given to it while I buy other varieties. Strange though it may sound but the variety that grows wild is prettier You can see all the varieties here.

My passion is photography and gardening among a few other things. There is one colour of caladiums that just spring up in the rains on its own and it is in fact pulled out and treated as weeds. If it did not come uninvited perhaps it would have received more respect (lol)

This plant makes me sad. It reminds me of cemeteries. I think it's used to cover graves.

Tube roses make me sad as I associate their scent with the wreathes that are made here mostly using tube roses. We do not have these plants in cemetries.

I love caladiums they have gorgeous leaves. I have a few in my collection I need one of these white ones to make my collection better.
