OMG! Bacon, Sausages, And Hotdogs Can Cause CANCER?!

This is not to scare you, my friends, to eat those tasty bacons, sausages, and hotdogs. However, I read an article that according to the World Health Organization (WHO) processed meats CAN cause cancer! Bacon, sausages, and hotdogs are processed meats. In addition according to WHO, red meats including beef, pork, veal, and lamb may also be carcinogenic to you and me. I consulted Mr. Webster-N-Merriam (dictionary), I learned that the word - carcinogenic - means "it may cause cancer." I am practically a vegetarian as I don't eat meats except dressed (skinless) chicken breasts. O, I eat sea foods like crabs, shrimps, and fish, especially Atlantic salmon. I seldom eat lobsters because they are as expensive as gold. For the past 25 years I just ate a small lobster once! It looked more like a large shrimp. Anyway, just enjoy eating your bacon, sausages, and extra-large hotdogs. They may not be carcinogenic to you. Whew, I learned one English word today - carcinogenic. It rhymes with photogenic. Various foods are constantly being listed as potential causes of cancer and other terminal problems then scientific opinion changes a few years later. According to the stated dangers and risk factors there should nobody over 40 years of age alive today.

@antonbunot In my childhood we had no "sell by" dates on food, we ate fruit from the wild bushes while collecting berries and several other things that that we are now informed is seriously dangerous.

I used to eat hotdogs, bacon, sausages, et al . . but I turned vegetarian when our family doctor advised us to abstain from eating red meat. Vegetables, fruits, and seafoods are what I eat now.

ugh another thing that causes cancer really? I am getting kind of tired of them stating these "facts". I think I had read a post about orange juice causing cancer. I feel like if there is an over consumption of something it is harmful but in moderation is good, but that is beyond the point. Its ridiculous and I choose not to believe this, lets lay out some hard cold facts and then maybe..
