Do you enjoy gardening?

One of my favorite hobbies is gardening. To actually watch something grow and to know that you helped it live is something very relaxing and beautiful. I don't think there is a more peaceful moment then being in a garden with the sun shining and the smell of earth and life. It's winter now and all the plants have gone but I look forward to spring and planting again.Do you enjoy gardening as well? What do you plant?

A big garden can be rewarding but even just a small planter in the window and you can still enjoy watching your plants grow and taking care of them.

Then vertical gardening is for you! Try gardening in containers or in some sort of vertical planter!

@chance216,I love gardening.Although I don't have space for a small garden,I plant flower saplings in the premises of temples,graveyards and atop and along the slope of the hillock at the outskirts of our town.And I also take care to ensure that they grow up properly.

@babaraimc Actually I have been a member of a society formed by my friends in our town.This society is devoted to planting trees.We have already planted more than 100000 tress so far in the last seven years.

I like gardening but my mother is really the one with the green thumb. I just sell all the seeds from her beautiful garden online. They are very popular.

I also like gardening. I grow mostly flowers and vegetables but we don't have much room in our yard. But gardening gives me the feeling of accomplished and makes me relax.

Gardening is my passion too. I cannot have enough of it. If I am not here then I will be in my garden looking at every growth be it a fresh leaf, a bud a fruit or a flower.

I'm planting some vegetables with my cousin. It was really enjoyable specially when you see how it grows and after a long wait you can finally harvest the veggies.

Totally agree with you. I also enjoy gardening, I love plants and flower. They can make me peaceful and feel happy look plats grow rapidly. I love all the plants and flowers especially which can plant in the yard...It makes me happy in every morning...

I love gardening.. When I lived in an apartment I used to have a living wall.. all window sills were full of plants.. and all balconies were gardens. Now My terrace and my pergola have become my little gardens.

Gardening is great fun, I've loved growing things since I was about 8 years old. It's fascinating watching how a small seed can grow into a full grown plant. I never really got into growing vegetables and mostly grow herbaceous flowers. When I'm out on my cycling travels, I'm always on the lookout for nice wild flowers which would look well in the garden.

Wow now I finally get someone with similar hobbies, to me though is more than a hobby ,I am doing a course in production of Horticultural crops and i cant wait to implement the knowledge in the fields

I love gardening! I love eating the harvest after working and watering, caring for and watching the food grow. I love knowing that I can grow my own food. I really enjoy composting and making my own dirt.
