Upon A Throne - Newest Painting

Upon a Throne is the latest painting that I recently completed. It's done in oil paints- my very first oil painting ever! I thought it came out pretty good, but I didn't like the wait time for adding layers. The linseed oil was bearable and I actually liked the smell.
Any other artists out there? I know you are there :) let's add eachother.

I really like that! I paint with acrylics because they tend to be more forgiving when you make a mistake. I have never tried to paint with oils, I heard it is very difficult though. Very impressive for your first time :-)

It´s an attractive piece of art. It would have been better if you had added the feet of the model and more skin color, like pink, and a human shadow in the background! It´s a good painting!
