Today, as we were getting the soill ready to trnsplant some kale, we came upon some new potatoes. They weren´t too small either. For us it was a miracleof nature.
We decided to plant some more nearby. I have some grown potatos from last year and I don´t lose anything if I plant them: I will not eat them now.
This chilly Spring will help us with some late crops. Usually at this time of the year it is much too warm for seeds of any sort.
How are your Springs? Do you plant veggies?

They are very good. And as you pick them when they are new, you can also eat the skin.

I don't grow vegetables, my gardening skills are confined to growing flowers. However every year, bad pieces of potatoes thrown out during peeling end up on the compost heap, and grow. So I get a few kilos of produce, without any effort. Like these ones which were nice and clean.
