It's basically a readathon but you read books that mention bullying in them and whenever you post about them say in instagram,twitter or tumblr you use the hashtag antibullyreads. It helps to spread awareness about bullying :) I haven't done very well though, I had vowed to read four books I believe and so far I have read 2 half of books! and it's Friday! Not very good I must say but hopefully I shall get lots more done tonight! So that shall be good! Do you participate in readathons or do you just love to read?

i don't take part in readathons, (don't have the time lately. the whole awaerness bit seems a little contrived i think bullies will see it and think "oh everyone is reading anti bullying books I best give my head a wobble and change my ways" nor will it do anything for those who are being bullied.

I don't think anybody thinks that way, I don't think anyone who takes part or supports these kind of things think that someone who is bullying someone is going to think like that. It's more that people who are being bullied can take part in something like this which then brings people together who are going through the same thing. Someone who once didn't have friends now has friends who shares the same interests as them (reading in this case) which in turn makes the world more bearable for them. Youtube is the same some very popular "booktubers" do videos about it and take part, that then spreads a message to their viewers. It also makes people more aware of the ditch the label charity which is there to help people who are being bullied and going through a tough time. I do however understand why you and many others feel that way about things like this, but I just feel that it's a fun way to bring people together and even if it makes the world a brighter place for just one person it's worth it. :)

:) It is indeed it can ruin someones life and affect them in the future. I just think this is a fun way to put on the spot light on it :)
