Sweeba/Gullible?

So, a new online earning site has appeared called Sweeba. The name sounded slightly familiar to me - oh yes, the ill-fated Sweeble app that the Bubblews guys launched earlier this year. The site promises to be a social network that pays - sort of like Tsu which is another site that I don't think ever took off the way it should have. I signed up out of nosiness and it's full of people posting about how exciting the site is - how it's the best thing ever and how much money they are earning on the site (despite it's very poor pay rates). It does seem that a lot of people are very quick to trust anything that promises to make them money online rather than being cautious. With so many people getting burned on so many sites, surely it's better to be cautious?

I just went to look at the site and there seems to be no site called Sweba. There has to be more to the name or the url. Nothing comes up. Unless it is not in the USA.

@tallawah Oh, one of those sites. A secret location. That's not a good sign at all. Sounds a bit fishy to me.

@euphie Strange. I did find it, it is spelled Sweeba not Sweba. There is no information on that site. So I would say to stay away.

It definitely exists but I don't think it is US based as such. As other people have started, it's a mystery.

I'm not joining, I found a writing site that's been around and will be around for a long time to write for, so I'm moving all my articles there.

@euphie I made Bubblews 25 dollars plus the 50 they had off of me in the past when they stopped paying so much because of the spammers. I am returning to My lot after about 6 years and it is still here , so here is where I am going to stay.x

I joined out of nosiness but I have no plans to actually use the site. I already made Bubblews $48 this year that I didn't get!

@suzzy3 I think I'll stick with here too. Enjoying it so far and while I won't retire on my earnings, any little cash helps :o)

Sadly, I'm sure that some people will be burned. Maybe I'm just getting cynical...

It would not surprise me if those favorable posts were written by the owners, or people connected to the site, in order to fool people into writing for the site. I understand you have to join to see posts. That is half the battle. Then to read all these wonderful post about how much money one could make will entice people to take the final step and start writing posts. I wonder how many people will take the bait.

For now I will stick to Mylot and Forumwheel. This new site seemed risky but I may consider gambling because many scams at least pay money in the first few years.

I went over to the site and poked around a bit but didn't see any good reason to spend time over there. I'll take a pass on this one.

I might search it out for amusement, but I won't be joining up. Maybe it's someone's idea of a joke.
