When you're sad, find that one person who cheers you up just be their very presence. Find someone who knows your sad even before you do, and does everything they can to cheer you up!
Be with someone who appreciates every part of you, inside and out. Find that one person who loves your most hated feature, who accepts you for exactly who you are, quirks and all!
Fall in love with the one person who knows they never want anyone else, who can look at you and fall in love with you all over again each day. Fall in love with that person who lights your soul on fire each time you catch a glimpse of them!
Find someone who makes you a better person!

@moffittjc This makes me think about what Robin Williams said. Which was: "I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It's not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone."
I agree with this completely. I can also relate. Many occasions I have been around people who claimed they supported me and were there for me but I eventually saw their true colours. That being that they were full of it. Just because you're surrounded by a large number of people, does not mean you're surrounded by true friends.

You are so right! Every person only has one or two true friends that they can count on for anything and everything, and the rest of the so-called "friends" aren't really friends at all. Maybe they're leeches or something, trying to suck you for every bit of dignity you have!

My husband and my son can do this for me most of the time.

Great advice but hard to put into effect. You are really suggesting seven people and most of us are blessed if we find someone who can fulfil just one of these roles. I think I would go for the person who cheers me up, there's nothing like a good laugh to put things into perspective.

Haha, I think you are right! It's hard to find all that in one person! I think I'm one of those people who likes to cheer other people up!
