my neighbor is beating his wife

my neighbor is a total animal. he does a lot of swearing but this morning he exagerated. I woke up in shouts and screaming and from the sound of it I think he was beating his wife. I don't know what to do. I would like to help her but I'm afraid he might become agressive with me too

You should intervene along with other neighbors, if he is beating his wife. It is unacceptable and you could even threaten him that matter will be reported to local Police, if does not mend his ways.

I did it but the situation continues.Now I'm afraid to get involved between them anymore because he's an agressive person

A lot of people don't like to get involved in those situations but perhaps you should try to talk to her and she may tell you exactly what's going on because you don't sound too sure about the situation.

I wouldn't feel confortable getting in between them. he's a dangerous person and I'm even afraid he would somehow hurt me
