Is karaoke popular in your side?

Yes it is. Japan is THE karaoke country so it's very popular here. It's also a lot cheaper to do karaoke here in Japan. It's so expensive to do it in America.

In my side, karaoke still popular in some circles but not in all circles. The reason is same in your side, karaoke is not the only entertainment today, there are many kinds of entertainment. I think the most popular today is games, from children until adults loves games.

Yes, its popular here too among youths. but not among everyone. sametime, i had seen some media guys using the karaoke of popular songs and singing their owns for creating a portfolio of themselves or they produce remake of same song for gaining popularity. so they will use all social medias like whatsapp, facebook, etc., to make it viral. Once again, its not popular everywhere. just among quiet few groups

Here in the Philippines , birthday celebrations is always with karaoke or videoke . Specially after the party , the videoke singing is what the boys and girls who have some bit of drinking, do.

Karaoke is not as popular in Australia as in Japan. I hope to visit a Karaoke bar while there though.

A lot of my friends go to karaoke bars but I personally don't - I can't sing :)

I never go to any karaoke in England, but we are on holiday in Spain and it's still popular here. We had great fun watching it just yesterday, but don't take part ourselves.

It is still popular here in the United States. In fact, my daughter and her best friend stayed up all night singing karaoke! They love it!

It is not as popular in the U.S. as it used to be, either.
