I'd only just signed up, and the whole thing disappeared! I guess I missed out on the glory days. I did find the people extremely kind and friendly. I just hope that the community built there is still available. It must have been a shock for some.

A significant part of the community came over to this site. Some of them actually started here went to Bubblews and then when things went terribly sour we came back here.

@Hatley I do remember all that. At least MyLot didn't think burning down the whole community was a good idea.

@Bluedoll That's true. I was lucky, someone on HP mentioned this place to me. I bet some of the regular, long time Bubblews posters must be terribly upset by it all. Just to close like that!

yes you di d but take comfort in trhe fact that bubblews had been going downhillthe last few months not paying people here who had redeemed and n ot making contact withu s at all til they just abr uptly
closed down an ugly thing as they posted no warnin gs at all.

@kimberleyclar Believe me, Bubblews was on a downhill slide long before you got there. I had joined during the glory days but those days were long gone if you just joined before they shut it down. I even wrote a post in July or August over there about the glory days being gone. Then I added Bruce Springsteen's song, "Glory Days," that was on Youtube.

@RichardMeister Thank you Richard! I'm still a bit baffled, it seemed like a great place with lovely people, too. I heard that a few of those people are on here as well, so I hope to catch up with them, and meet new people too. And I'm glad me signing up wasn't the start of the demise of Bubblews - I was thinking, 'was it something I said?!'

@ivyparkgirl I had almost $60, and I don't expect to see it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but not anymore, so if that Sweeble app is still around, I'll pass on it.

I earned a lot of money from this site but I cant earn in the last few months because it became a ghost town. I am one of the few lucky ones who got paid by this site. I replaced this site with the Forumwheel.

That is really too bad. Yes, you did miss out on the glory days when most people got paid including me. I felt so blessed to have been part of the community and to be paid regularly a large amount of money. I have never managed to earn $100 monthly in any other writing websites but with Bubblews, it was so easy and so much fun.
But then, Bubblews went downhill and I became one of the people who didn't get paid. I thought that it was too good to last. But while it was paying, it was THE best site to earn money.

It was not a shock to me. I saw it fall apart then totally gone. But I am pretty sad because it was the first site I made money

@kimberleyclar,What was the Bubblews community then is now Mylot community.I was in Bubblews.All those who were my friends there have joined Mylot now.

I know! I'd only just been on there a short while. Such a shame, the site had a lovely look and feel, and the commenters were so welcoming.
Perhaps it's good that you didn't really join, as it was not a good site for the past one year. Yes, it used to be a great site, but there were many unpaid payments too. Let's just enjoy ourselves in mylot here!

Well, good for you that you just signed up before Bubblews disappeared from the internet. Not like us who had been members since the beginning. Its first 2 years were wonderful . . earnings were great . . then on its third year everything went downward . . until it disappeared without trace.
